TRI Pointe Homes has acquired 154 lots to build new homes in two for-sale communities in Douglas County, located south of Denver.
"The Denver market ranks in the top 10 nationally for growth and stability,” said Darren DuPree, division president of TRI Pointe Homes Colorado. “These lot acquisitions illustrate the TRI Pointe Group’s continued commitment to the growth of the Colorado Division.”
In late October, TRI Pointe Homes acquired 54 lots within Sterling Ranch, a master-planned community located at the foot of the Front Range and within 15 to 30 minutes from Lockheed Martin’s campus and other major south metro Denver employment centers. The division planned to purchase another 26 lots in late November. The master plan features nine distinct villages surrounding a town center and retail core that will total more than 12,000 residences and two million square feet of commercial space at buildout. TRI Pointe Homes’ offering is in a new neighborhood, Ascent Village, and will include new alley-loaded homes ranging from 1,400 to 2,200 square feet with five different, customizable floor plans and fenced side yards. Priced in the mid-$400,000s and targeting first-time and first-time move-up buyers, Ascent Village pre-sales are slated to begin in spring 2020.
Last month, TRI Pointe Homes also acquired 100 lots in Trails at Crowfoot, in the Town of Parker, a 30-minute drive from Denver Tech Center, Inverness Business Park and Meridian Business Park. The new 60-foot wide homes in TRI Pointe’s offering will include six different customizable floor plans, ranging in size from approximately 2,300 to 3,400 square feet and will include two ranch plans and one master-on- main plan. Additional features in the community will include a 17-acre town park, three neighborhood parks, a pool and cabana and tennis, basketball and pickle-ball courts. Targeted toward second- and third-time move-up and move-down buyers, and priced from the mid $500,000s to the low $600,000s, Trails at Crowfoot sales are also expected to begin in Spring 2020.
