Trendmaker Homes Houston, a unit of the TRI Pointe Group (NYSE: TPH), announced the grand opening of two new model homes at Balmoral, a 750-acre master-planned community located in Northeast Houston.

Offering a brand new collection of home designs, Trendmaker will deliver 44 homes on 50’ lots upon completion. To celebrate the grand opening, Trendmaker will host an event on Saturday, May 4th from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Trendmaker Homes New Home Gallery. The public is invited to tour two new professionally decorated model homes.

The new homes will offer five floor plans, with a sixth floor plan coming soon, ranging in size from 1,847 square feet to 2,678 square feet. The one- and two-story homes include 3 to 4 bedrooms, 2 to 3 bathrooms, and 2-car garages with options to add a 5th bedroom, 4th bath, study, fireplaces in the family room, covered patios, garage extensions or additional 1-car garages. Prices start in the $260,000s.

“Our new home designs at Balmoral will offer residents homes that are just as comfortable and stylish for their life as they are for their budget,” said Joe Mandola, president at Trendmaker Homes. “With starting home prices lower than our traditional product, we are able to make owning a Trendmaker Home more attainable to a larger audience of people while still delivering on our quality construction, design and overall offerings.”

As part of Trendmaker’s LivingSmart® program, each home will not only be designed and independently certified to exceed local energy codes, but will also be enhanced with money-saving, energy-efficient features throughout. Each home will also include features from Trendmaker Home’s HomeSmart® program that features Amazon Alexa-integrated living for comfort, security, and Wi-Fi connectivity that controls many features like lights or the thermostat with just a swipe of a smartphone or a spoken command. Each HomeSmart package is activated and supported by Amazon and includes an Echo Dot and HomeSmart products that work with Alexa to create seamless living.

Balmoral offers residents gated and non-gated options and lakeside villages in the West Lake Houston area north of Beltway 8 in Humble, Texas. The jewel of the new master-planned community is the two-acre, first-in-Texas Crystal Clear Lagoon where residents can enjoy swimming, paddle boarding, or simply lounging on the white-sand beach. Meanwhile, the eight-acre Amenity Village includes a 7,500 square foot clubhouse, resort-style pool with infinity edge, splashpad, fitness center, sand volleyball court, playground, and hammocks row.

The new community also features the GreenBoLT trail system, a network of trails throughout the community that connects neighbors together and leads back to the Amenity Village. The trails, designed to be wide enough to accommodate golf carts, walking, biking, and jogging, will provide residents a connection to the outdoors and the ability to gather back at Amenity Village, the heart of the community.

Balmoral residents attend schools within the Humble Independent School District, one of the fastest growing school districts in Texas, and children of Trendmaker homeowners attend nearby Groves Elementary School, the newly opened West Lake Middle School, and Summer Creek High School.

Balmoral’s Northeast Beltway location off North Sam Houston Parkway and Woodland Hills Drive will allow residents to enjoy the natural beauty of the area while remaining accessible to key points around Houston.

“We are thrilled to be building our homes in Balmoral and working with a developer who has a reputation of building some of Greater Houston’s best master-planned communities,” said Mandola. “We anticipate a wide range of buyers from young families to empty nesters looking to downsize, to young couples looking for their first home, all of whom will enjoy what Trendmaker Homes has to offer as well as the generous amenities and central, convenient location provided by Balmoral.”
