KB Home (NYSE: KBH) will open its 24th community in the San Antonio area this weekend.
Stonegate is its latest new home community and model park in southeast San Antonio. This commuter-friendly neighborhood is located minutes from Loop 410 and other major interchanges, linking residents to downtown San Antonio, Brooks City-Base, Toyota Motor Manufacturing Texas and other employment centers. Stonegate is in the East Central School District and within a short drive to Sinclair Elementary School.
Situated near San Antonio’s historic missions and Espada Park, Stonegate offers 12 distinct floor plans ranging in size from 1,200 to 2,700 square feet. With up to six bedrooms and three bathrooms and featuring desirable attributes such as lofts, covered patios and master suite retreats, the one- and two-story flexible floor plans allow KB home buyers to design a home that reflects their personal style and needs.
"Our beautiful new model home will give buyers a taste of what is possible when purchasing a new KB home at Stonegate,” said Rob Wasyliw, president of KB Home’s San Antonio division. “Single professionals, growing families and older home buyers alike will be delighted to find that our simple home building process also allows for personalization and choice.”
KB Home is hosting a grand opening celebration at Stonegate on Saturday, Dec. 15 from 11 a.m.-7 p.m. Home buying experts will be on hand to answer questions and refreshments will be provided.
The KB homes at Stonegate will be built to ENERGY STAR® guidelines and include WaterSense® labeled faucets and fixtures, meaning they are designed to be more energy- and water-efficient than most typical new and resale homes in the area. These energy- and water-saving features are estimated to save home buyers between $1,296 and $2,076 a year in utility costs, depending on the floorplan.
