KB Home (NYSE: KBH) on Wednesday announced the grand opening of Marbella, its latest collection of new single-family homes in Southwest San Antonio.

Convenient to Interstates 35 and 37, Marbella offers an easy drive to downtown San Antonio and major employers, including Toyota® Motor Manufacturing, Port San Antonio and Lackland Air Force Base.

At Marbella, KB Home will construct 313 one- and two-story homes and offer 13 distinct floor plans. With up to five bedrooms and three-and-a-half baths, and ranging in size from approximately 1,200 to 2,700 square feet, the homes at Marbella also feature design characteristics like walk-in closets, elegant master suites and lofts. Pricing begins in the $170,000s.

KB plan 1234 starts at $177,995.

Residents at Marbella can enjoy nearby Pearsall Park, which features an 18-hole disc golf course, a dog park, skate park, sports courts and fields, and the largest playground and splash pads in San Antonio. Nature lovers will appreciate Mitchell Lake, which serves as a resting point for tens of thousands of migratory birds each year. Residents can also explore the rich culinary scene, public parks and green spaces at Brooks City Base, which is just a short drive away.

“The KB home building process offers a simple path to homeownership,” said Rob Wasyliw, president of KB Home’s San Antonio division. “We guide our home buyers through every step of the process to co-create a new home specifically for them.”

KB Home will host a grand opening celebration at Marbella, Saturday, March 2, noon–3 p.m., during which attendees may tour the model home. Refreshments and entertainment will be provided.

The KB homes at Marbella will be built to current ENERGY STAR® certification guidelines and include WaterSense® labeled faucets and fixtures, meaning they are designed to be more energy- and water-efficient than most typical new and resale homes available in the area. These energy- and water-saving features are estimated to save home buyers between $780 and $1,212 a year in utility costs, depending on the floor plan.
