KB Home announced community openings in Kent, Washington, and Meridian, Idaho—the builder’s first new-home community in the state.
The Fox Meadows community in Kent features one- and two-story homes priced in the mid-$600,000s. Homes in the community feature spacious kitchens, bathroom suites with walk-in closets, flexible dens and lofts, and ample storage space, according to the builder. The homes feature up to five bedrooms and three baths, and they range in size from 1,600 to 2,500 square feet. The community is located close to the Clark Lake Park, Arbor Heights 360 Park, Tiger Mountain, and Snoqualmie Pass.
“Fox Meadows is situated near Highway 167, Highway 18, Interstate 5, and the Sounder train, providing easy access to downtown Seattle and the area’s major employers. The new community is also close to popular shopping, dining, entertainment, and outdoor recreation and walking distance to area schools,” says Ryan Kemp, president of KB Home’s Seattle division. “As with other KB Home communities, Fox Meadows provides shoppers with the opportunity to purchase a personalized, new KB home at a price that fits their budget."
KB Home’s first new-home community in Idaho, Graycliff, features floor plans with up to six bedrooms and three baths ranging from 1,400 to 2,700 square feet. The community offers residents views of the Boise foothills, Shafer Butte, and the Owyhee Mountains, and features walking paths, open space, a pool, and a children’s play area. Homes are priced starting in the low $400,000s.
Graycliff is located near Interstate 84, providing residents easy access to downtown Boise, the Boise Airport, and the area’s major employment centers.
“We are proud to open Graycliff, our first new-home community in Idaho. We design our open floor plans to be more comfortable, with room spaces that live bigger—at affordable prices. Additionally, KB Home gives each customer the ability to personalize their new home and offers a wide range of design choices,” says Thomas Coleman, president of KB Home’s Idaho division.
Homes in both communities are designed to be Energy Star certified and deliver an enhanced indoor environment. Homes include high performance ventilation systems, low- or zero-VOC products, and other features guided by the Environmental Protection Agency’s Indoor airPLUS standards.
