The area features abundant outdoor recreational opportunities, with parks, public golf courses and protected open spaces for residents to enjoy year round. At Genoa at Orchard Hills, KB Home plans to construct 110 homes in three two-story floor plans that range in size from 3,550 to 3,950 square feet. The homes include up to five bedrooms and four-and-a-half baths and feature desirable design characteristics like ground floor bedroom suites, sleek gourmet kitchens, elegant master suites and open lofts. Each new home offers a private yard, ideal for entertaining. Pricing begins at $1.7 million.
“This new community offers stunning natural beauty, stylish architecture and breathtaking valley views,” said Steve Ruffner, president of KB Home’s Coastal division and its Southern California regional general manager. “The resort-style amenities, parks and scenic trails inspire a vibrant, active lifestyle, and the luxurious residences offer buyers the opportunity to create their own personalized sanctuary.”
The KB homes at Genoa at Orchard Hills will include a standard solar power system and WaterSense® labeled faucets and fixtures, be built to current ENERGY STAR® certification guidelines and achieve EPA Indoor airPLUS qualification. This means these KB homes are designed to be more energy and water efficient and have better indoor air quality than most typical new and resale homes available in the area. These energy- and water-saving features are estimated to save buyers between $1,872 and $1,944 a year in utility costs, depending on the floor plan. Additionally, buyers will have the opportunity to increase the number of solar panels on their new home to potentially further reduce their utility bills.
KB Home will also be offering the KB Smart Home System as a standard feature at Genoa at Orchard Hills. The KB Smart Home System, which leverages the power of Google Assistant™, allows KB homeowners to control the functionality of their smart-home features, automate routines to their individual preferences and live more comfortably and efficiently in their new homes.
