Ash Creek Homes, an Austin-based developer and home builder, announced Thurday that Jenna Edge has been promoted to president of the company.
Edge, an award-winning Project Manager, replaces the company founder, Scott Morledge, who has been president and CEO of Ash Creek Homes for the past 37 years.

Edge has been serving as the company's project manager for the past 7 years, developing and building luxury communities west of Austin in the Texas Hill Country near Lake Travis. She's currently overseeing the build out two luxury communities in Lakeway, TX, with a new townhouse project slated for 2020.
"I feel very lucky to have this opportunity in a beloved city like Austin," said Edge, a Houston native. "Ash Creek Homes has literally helped shape Austin and the surrounding hill country for the past 37 years. We've built homes for hundreds of families here -- it's an honor to be part of the past, present and future growth."
"When it comes to architecture, we research details for the exterior design so that every community has an authentic and custom feel," said Edge. "We do the same thing with floor plans, making sure every square inch flows properly and maximizes space."
Edge has a BA in Marketing from Texas State University, real estate and residential development.
"Being outside is my happy place," says Edge. "I love exploring tracts of land for new communities. I just throw on a pair of boots and I'm ready to roll," Edge said. "But that's what we do! We spend time analyzing every tree and the topography and we go out of our way to preserve the natural features of a piece of land."
Ash Creek Homes is currently building luxury homes in Serene Hills (located 30 miles west of downtown Austin) and in Honey Creek (located across from Lake Travis High School). Ash Creek Homes has plans for a new community in 2020, Vista Parke. Vista Parke will be located in the Four Points area (north Austin) and will feature low-maintenance townhomes.
