American Legend Homes of Dallas celebrated its expansion into the Northern Colorado market with a Berthoud Chamber of Commerce ribbon-cutting event late last month at American Legend's model home in Berthoud's Heritage Ridge community.
American Legend Homes is a family-owned organization that has been building homes since 2003. Based in Dallas, it is part of the Bright Industries family of businesses, which has had a presence in North Texas since the 1950s.
American Legend began building in Northern Colorado in 2018. Homes in Berthoud's Heritage Ridge are available for move-in now; homes in Windsor's RainDance are now selling; and homes in Loveland's The Enclave at Mariana Butte are selling in the spring of 2019.
"We specifically chose this area for our expansion because it needs a home builder that is more heavily focused on quality, style and how the customer is served," said Kevin Egan, American Legend Homes president. "We offer a buying experience that is different from other builders in Northern Colorado and that will set us apart with buyers," added Egan, who grew up in Loveland and graduated from Colorado State University.
"We are excited to have American Legend Homes as a member of the Berthoud Area Chamber of Commerce as they build their quality homes in Berthoud," said Deanne Mulvihill, executive director of the Chamber of Commerce. "Lifestyle is very important in Northern Colorado and we feel that American Legend Homes meets our high standards in quality, home design and customer service."
Homes in the Heritage Ridge master-planned community are within walking distance of downtown Berthoud. They range in size from 1,725 to 4,000 square feet and offer options to personalize floor plans with additional bedrooms and bathrooms, media rooms, game rooms and studies. Buyers here can take advantage of a community pool and several parks, as well as breathtaking mountain views. Prices on these homes start in the low $400s.
American Legend Homes at Windsor's RainDance community are selling now. This community offers 52 acres of parks, community farms, an extensive trail system, pool and lazy river, and golf. Homes here offer striking Front Range views and start in the low $400s. Homes at Loveland's The Enclave at Mariana Butte will be built along 17 acres of natural open space at Boedecker Reservoir and are bordered by recreation trails and the Mariana Butte Golf Course.
"American Legend Homes is all about customer experience and satisfaction," said Don Long, vice president - Colorado. "We are proud to say that we have already gotten referrals from our first buyers in the Berthoud community and we will continue to work to become the most respected builder in Northern Colorado." American Legend has a 99 percent "Willingness to Refer" rate on 2018 closing surveys, which are presented to the buyer at closing and sent to a third party (Woodland O'Brien) for verification.
All American Legend buyers work with American Legend's Design Gallery in personalizing the finish-out of their homes. Buyers partner with the team of designers to choose everything from flooring, lighting, hardware and faucets to backsplashes, cabinetry, color schemes and more. American Legend also works with local preferred lender, Academy Mortgage, to provide financial services.
"We look forward to distinguishing ourselves as a premium builder in Northern Colorado, as well as becoming an active part of the community here," added Egan.
