Wan Bridge

Outside of Houston, in the Land Tejas Balmoral master plan in Atascocita, build-to-rent (BTR) developer and operator Wan Bridge has announced the start of construction for Bluewater at Balmoral, a new BTR community with 92 three- to four-bedroom homes. The expansion of Wan Bridge’s Houston footprint is financed by Schertz Bank & Trust.

“We are excited for Wan Bridge’s continued additions to the Houston area. Our goal is to bring more choices for residents looking to take advantage of this unique housing option of build-to-rent while ensuring details and amenities are not forgotten, especially as Texas continues to witness population, job, and corporate relocation growth. These homes will bring more luxury rentals to the community, providing great value as we continue to grow this neighborhood our residents love and call home,” says Ting Qiao CEO and co-founder of Wan Bridge.

With construction underway, the first homes are scheduled for delivery in the third quarter of 2023. Across 16 buildings, the homes will range in size from 1,400 to 1,800 square feet with high-end style, functional layouts, and practical features. Modern amenities will include oversized kitchen islands, walk-in closets, and 10-foot ceilings. Select units will offer additional luxury features like LED mirrors and rainforest showerheads.

Located near Wan Bridge’s Clearwater at Balmoral—the first BTR community in the Land Tejas Balmoral development—new residents will also have convenient access to Atascocita Park, Lindsay/Lyons Park & Sports Complex, and an array of dining, shops, and health care. Clearwater at Balmoral is a 94-unit duplex and triplex community that was completed and leased up within 12 months from its start in November 2020.
