Trendmaker Homes, a Houston-based unit of TRI Pointe Group, has opened its model home at Headwaters, a 1,035-acre master-planned community near Austin, Texas.

Six floor plans, which are priced starting in the low $400,000s, are available for construction on Trendmaker’s home sites. Each plan ranges in size from 2,429 to 3,138 square feet, and includes three to five bedrooms, 2.5 to 4.5 baths, and a study room, game room, front porch, back patio, and outdoor kitchen. All home sites back to green space.

Trendmaker’s Headwaters community will be the builder’s third in the Austin metro market. The builder is currently selling homes in the Fairways and Bluffs neighborhoods of the Crystal Falls master-plan in Leander, as well as the San Saba neighborhood of the Belterra master-plan. Trendmaker also plans to open a model home at Rancho Sienna, a Georgetown, Texas master-plan, this spring.

“We are grateful to be able to build and deliver premium homes in Austin at a time when employment and housing is so strong,” said Will Holder, president of Trendmaker Homes, in a release. “As we further expand our brand in Austin in the coming year, we will continue to focus on the needs and desires of the most discriminating home buyers through innovative designs and customer service, just as we have done in Houston for the past four decades.”

Shared amenities at Headwaters include hiking, biking, and walking trails, a pool, a fitness center, and a Welcome Center and café.

The community is located in the Dripping Springs Independent School District, whose Dripping Springs High School has recently been recognized as one of the top high schools in the country by U.S. News & World Report.
