Sunset Pointe, a small neighborhood in southwest Cape Coral by D.R. Horton’s Southwest Florida division, celebrated its grand opening earlier. This new gated community is expected to feature just 58 single-family homes, all with a three-car garage.

Sunset Pointe will seven one- and two-story home plans are available, with prices starting at $299,990. All plans feature tile roofs and paver drivers, and many homesites offer views of a central fountain lake.

The builder’s one-story Camden model is now open for touring, featuring 2,795 square feet of living space, four bedrooms and three-and-a-half baths. This home offers a great room and café space that adjoin an open kitchen and overlook the lanai. Horton says that the Camden provides options to accommodate an extended-family household, with a flex room that can serve as a multi-generational living room and a dining room that can be configured as an additional flex room.

Located at the end of Cape Coral Parkway, Sunset Pointe offers easy access to downtown Cape Coral and Fort Myers, according to Horton. Neighboring activities include boating, shopping, restaurants, shelling, fishing, golfing, kayaking, jet skiing and beaches.
