GL Homes will be expanding its 55+ “Valencia” community brand into the Naples area this spring with the start of sales for Valencia Bonita in Bonita Springs, Florida. Valencia Bonita will be GL’s first Valencia community in southwest Florida, and the eleventh Valencia community in the state.
When complete, Valencia Bonita will include 997 single-family and villa homes on 347 acres. Twenty-one floor plans are available to buyers, with walk-in closets and screened-in and covered patios available in every plan.
The community’s signature amenity will be a 45,000-square foot waterfront clubhouse and lifestyle complex. The clubhouse will include a grand ballroom, fitness center, billiards and card rooms, a cooking studio, an arts and crafts studio, and an indoor/outdoor café. Outdoor pools, an outdoor bar, and pickleball and tennis courts will also be available. A full-time lifestyle director will arrange special events for the community, such as galas, cocktail parties, and Broadway-style shows. The community is also located within reach of airports, hospitals and medical facilities, banks, salons and grocery stores.
“Today’s baby boomers are very active and they know just what they want. With each new Valencia community we design, we survey our residents to see what they desire most as far as recreation and relaxation amenities and then we add more features to attract homebuyers in this niche market,” said GL Homes Division President Patty Campbell in a release.
Valencia Bonita is set to open for sales in the first quarter of 2017, with pricing from the high $300,000s.
