The Cross Creek Ranch master-planned community in Fulshear, Texas has announced the next stage of its expansion. Seven builders - Trendmaker Homes, Newark Homes, Highland Homes, Chesmar Homes, Lennar, Perry Homes and Taylor Morrison -are opening six new neighborhoods in the north and west sections of the community this year, each with accompanying model homes.
Eight of the 18 new model homes are in Taylor Morrison’s Bonterra at Cross Creek Ranch active adult community. These single-story models feature wide hallways, spacious outdoor areas, and no-step showers. Bonterra residents will be able to access a lagoon pool, fire pit, 10,000 square-foot clubhouse, and bocce ball and pickleball courts, in addition to Cross Creek Ranch’s full community amenities.
Over 2,300 homes have been sold in Cross Creek Ranch since its 2008 opening, and Rob Bamford, general manager of Cross Creek Ranch, estimates that the community still has five years of development left. The community’s home sales have risen by 10% over the previous year alone, thriving despite declining oil prices and their negative toll on the Houston-area housing market. Bamford attributes the community’s success to its variety of choices and prices.
“We have a diverse array of home choices, from patio homes, designs for active adults and executive homes to custom and luxury homes with prices from the $200,000s to more than $1 million,” Bamford says. “So buyers are able to find a home that fits their needs and their budget.”
Cross Creek Ranch will be hosting a tour of its new and existing model homes on October 1st and 2nd, from noon to four PM each day. The community will provide event-goers with a free Google Cardboard device, which provides its user with a 3D virtual reality tour of each model home on their smartphone.
