Marianne Cusato is a New York–based designer who has won international acclaim for her work on the Katrina Cottages—waterproof, panelized homes presented as a sustainable, emergency housing alternative to trailers. She is the author of the forthcoming book, Get Your House Right, Architectural Details to Use and Avoid.
Robert Kleiman is the co-founder of Structure Development Group in Woodland Hills, Calif. Formerly the senior vice president of sales and marketing at Braemar Homes, Kleiman has managed the development and sales of more than 1,800 single-family residences, condominiums, and apartments, and more than 500,000 square feet of commercial/retail space with sales in excess of $1 billion.
Bill Kreager is principal of the Seattle-based architectural design and urban planning firm Mithun. Nationally recognized as a leader in smart-growth implementation and environmentally sensitive master planning, Kreager has served as the lead on projects ranging from small infill communities to 6,000-acre towns. He most recently served as the master planner for High Point, an acclaimed mixed-income revitalization project in West Seattle.
Donald Lococo is principal of Donald Lococo Architects in Washington's historic Georgetown neighborhood. The firm's custom residential architecture can be seen all along the Eastern seaboard, from Martha's Vineyard to the historic horse country estates of Middleburg, Va. Recent projects include a full-house renovation for former President Bill Clinton and Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton.
Geoffrey Steinback is founder and managing partner of Bower & Bailey, a top 15 building and development company in the metro St. Louis area. Steinback has won numerous national awards and currently sits on the Greater St. Louis HBA Home Building Industry-Political Action Committee board and State Legislative Committee.
Andrew Suman is the co-owner and co-founder of Röhe & Wright Builders, a design/ build firm specializing in one-of-a-kind homes in Houston's most desirable in-town neighborhoods. He has been awarded the Greater Houston Builders Association's Top Producer 14 times and has sold more than 200 homes totaling over $40 million.
Rebecca Swanston is principal of Swanston & Associates, an architectural firm based in Baltimore. The firm's portfolio includes new housing, commercial and residential renovations, and adaptive reuse, as seen in the recent transformation of an abandoned shipyard into the American Visionary Art Museum in Baltimore.
