Even the most popular plans can stand to be tweaked now and then. These favorite floor plans have been updated with modern mudrooms, larger laundry rooms, and other timely amenities.
This new version of a perennial bestseller has been updated with larger closets in the master suite and a library taking the place of a formal living room. The laundry room has been expanded and modernized by moving it to the side and including space nearby for a freezer. Also added: a powder bath, making each bedroom a truly private suite. The huge bonus space upstairs now includes specifications for three more bedrooms, a large Jack and Jill bath, a tech center, and a sitting room. See more images, information, and the floor plan.
An expanded version of this photographed home
from Donald A. Gardner Architects, this newer design boasts some up-to-date tweaks. The
biggest change: the master suite’s been moved away from the garage to make room
for a spacious mudroom, complete with a pantry, powder bath, and bench. In its
new location, the master suite is still buffered from the other bedrooms by its
large walk-in closet and the laundry room, both boasting sun tunnels for
improved illumination. The great room has also been stretched a bit. See more
images, information, and the floor plan.
