Meritage Homes, currently the seventh-largest public home builder in the country, has renewed its exclusive agreement with Whirlpool Corporation, which became effective as of June 1, 2016. Under this agreement, Meritage will continue to feature Amana®, Whirlpool®, Maytag®, KitchenAid® and Jenn-Air® brand home appliances in its new homes nationwide.

In the second half of 2016, during the initial period of the renewed four-year contract, Meritage reached two major milestones – the delivery of its 100,000th new home, and the unveiling of its LiVE.NOW new home brand, which is aimed at the growing first-time home buyer market.
The company has also received the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's ENERGY STAR® Partner of the Year for Sustained Excellence Award every year since 2013.
