Solar solutions provider Vivint Solar has partnered with Home Depot to expand its sales presence into over 200 Home Depot stores in Delaware, Florida, Maryland, New Hampshire, Nevada, Pennsylvania, Utah and Virginia.

Vivint will serve as the Home Depot’s exclusive solar vendor in these states. Sales representatives will be available in 206 store locations by the end of June, and interested customers can learn more about Vivint and Home Depot’s solar energy system on the Home Depot website.

This partnership marks Vivint’s first move into brick-and-mortar sales, alongside its existing direct-in-home and telephone sales model.

“Millions of shoppers visit The Home Depot actively seeking ways to improve their homes, and Vivint Solar does just that through simple and affordable home power solutions," David Bywater, CEO of Vivint, said in an announcement on the Vivint Solar blog. "As solar gains consumer attention, our in-store team is there to provide helpful guidance and assist shoppers hoping to learn if their home is a good solar candidate and see how much they could save on utilities."
