Rotelle Development Company has broken ground at Hearthstone at West Bristol, the second and final phase of construction for the active adult community in Bristol, Pa.
Currently there are 72 occupied units on the property. This new construction phase will add 60 more units in five three-story buildings to complete this community of 132 active adult residences.
Since the 2008 recession, Rotelle has had this project on standby. The decision was made to resume construction once the market recovered and the economy stabilized.
“We are extremely excited to be able to provide active adult housing at a great price with incredible value in an area where nothing else like it currently exists,” says president Peter B. Rotelle. “With only 60 remaining units left to build, we’ll soon be completing the site improvement work for the existing 72 homeowners — it’s a win-win for everyone.”
At a starting price as low as $149,900, pre-sales have been brisk; 75% of the first building units are already under contract. Each garden condominium is designed to offer one-level living, within a secure elevator building. Two-bedroom/two-bath units feature an open concept floor plan for ease of mobility.
