Have you booked your flight? The NAHB International Builders’ Show (IBS) is returning to Las Vegas.

Last year’s 75th anniversary was a celebration of what IBS has been; this year will be a testament of what is to come for builders and our industry, at home and abroad. 2020 marks the seventh annual Design & Construction Week, a co-location of IBS and NKBA’s Kitchen & Bath Industry Show. IBS will be held Jan. 21–23, 2020, at the Las Vegas Convention Center, kicking off with the DCW opening ceremonies featuring NBA-great Earvin “Magic” Johnson. With a combined total of more than 2,000 exhibits spanning a massive 1 million square feet of exhibit space, you won’t find networking and education opportunities like this anywhere else. IBS registered attendees will have access to the entire DCW show floor.

Early-bird registration deals will run through Nov. 15, with rates starting at $50 for NAHB members and $100 for non-members. If you know someone who would benefit from attending IBS but isn’t yet a member, you can help them sign up and receive a discounted first-time attendee rate of $150.

This year, we will debut advanced-level training in new Master Workshops on Jan. 20, before the start of the show. During the show, attendees with full registration can access over 130 education sessions across seven tracks, with high-profile speakers highlighting the latest industry trends and sharing knowledge that is transforming the way we address issues critical to home builders.

Show attendees interested in specific segments of the home building industry will find education sessions geared toward them and their businesses. IBS Centrals will offer niche-specific programming, workshops, and roundtable discussions on several topics, such as 55-plus, custom building, design, multifamily, remodeling, and sales. On the show floor, attendees can experience IBS Live and the High-Performance Building Zone; both will showcase the future of home building.

The New American Home and The New American Remodel will return this year as examples of cutting-edge building technologies and products; you can tour the homes as part of your registration package. This year’s remodel features the transformation of a 1970s two-story masterpiece equipped with innovative concepts and technology new to the housing industry.

At the annual Meeting of the Members on Thursday, Jan. 23, NAHB members will hear from former professional racing driver Danica Patrick. The IBS Closing Concert, held on the last night of the show, will feature the world-famous rock band, the Doobie Brothers. You can purchase concert tickets along with your show registration.

Only at the International Builders’ Show can you connect with thousands of your home building peers, industry experts, and manufacturers to exchange ideas, discuss challenges, and access real business solutions. Visit BuildersShow.com to register and to get the most up-to-date information. I hope to see all of you in Las Vegas in January.
