Taylor Morrison has appointed home building executive Keith Hurand to lead the company’s Dallas operations.

Hurand, who has more than two decades of experience in the home building industry, will serve as division president, overseeing all divisional aspects of day-to-day home building operations for Taylor Morrison and Darling Homes in Dallas. He previously was division president for Century Communities in Atlanta, and prior to that held senior regional positions with Newland Communities, WCI Communities and John Wieland Homes.

“Keith’s extensive industry leadership experience is precisely what our dynamic Dallas operations require in a leader,” said Charlie Enochs, regional president for Taylor Morrison. “With two distinct brands and product offerings in Taylor Morrison and Darling Homes, the Dallas division will benefit from Keith’s insights into how to position and differentiate each while operating as a unified organization.”

Hurand has held a variety of board positions throughout his career, including serving on the boards of the Builder Association of South Florida (BASF), Chairman of the Chatham County (North Carolina) Economic Development Corporation and a member of the Urban Land Institute’s LRDC Council.

Hurand earned his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering degree at the University of South Florida.
