Miller’s new role as division president comes after he served as VP of integrations for Taylor Morrison, leading the 2018 integration of AV Homes into Taylor Morrison while overseeing the transition of all operational, financial and administrative functions for the six acquired divisions and corporate departments.

“Doug has been an integral part of our Taylor Morrison team for more than a decade,” said Steve Kempton, regional president for Taylor Morrison. “We’re excited to see him return to the Tampa market and continue the level of home building excellence that we’ve enjoyed in our West Florida markets.”

Prior to overseeing the AV Homes integration, Miller was the Vice President of National Field Finance for Taylor Morrison. He also served eight years as regional CFO for the builder in Tampa.

Before joining Taylor Morrison, Miller’s experience included two decades in various roles including division president at Richmond American Homes and roles in finance for Pulte Homes and Ryland Homes. He earned his B.S. in Business Administration degree at Central Michigan University and was a certified public accountant.

Miller began his new position last month.
