Mattamy Homes U.S has named David Baselice president of the company's Orlando Division.
Baselice will oversee all aspects of Mattamy's business – including land acquisition and development, marketing, sales and construction – in the Orlando market.
"David has a successful track record of growing and improving the operations under his leadership, and I am thrilled to have him join our team," says Pete Skelly, CEO of Mattamy Homes US.
Baselice has a deep background in Florida home building, most recently as Division President Orlando with Lennar Corporation, a position he also held at CalAtlantic and Ryland. Baselice began his career in the industry as a onstruction superintendent with Lennar in South East Florida, he was promoted eight times in 13 years, holding key positions as lead superintendent, project manager, area development manager, director of ppperations, vp of Operations, division president and regional vp.
Baselice also served as a U.S. Marine Corps Lieutenant during Desert Storm, where he led a combat platoon and was awarded a commendation for his service. He holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Fordham University and is a member and former president of the Greater Orlando Builders Association.
