Los Angeles-based home builder Warmington Residential has promoted Tom Hildebrant, Vice President of the Costa Mesa-based Southern California division, and Ryan Gerding, Vice President of the San Ramon-based Northern California division, to presidents of their respective divisions.
Under this new leadership, Warmington plans to continue to pursue new land deals throughout California, focusing especially on infill and off-market opportunities. “As Warmington Residential continues to pursue growth via new acquisitions, Tom and Ryan are the right leaders to help us achieve our goals and I am pleased to announce their new roles. I am confident that the company will excel and expand under their direction in the regions they oversee,” Matt Tingler, Warmington Residential President, said in a statement.
Hildebrandt joined Warmington as a Land Acquisition Manager in 2015, and was named Division Vice President in Southern California in 2015. Under his leadership, the division has acquired 375 residential units across six deals, with a projected revenue of over $250 million. He was also responsible for the redevelopment of a former school site into a residential tract approved for 47 homes and a city park, which was sold to another builder for over $15 million. He maintains involvement in all of the division’s land transactions and dispositions.
Gerding joined Warmington as Director of Land Acquisition in 2010, and was made Division Vice President in Northern California in 2015. He has led the management and oversight of the division’s land acquisitions and dispositions. He is responsible for the acquisition and entitlement of 674 lots, as well as the sale of 430 lots and the closing of 15 escrows in the past five years. Under his leadership, the division completed three land deals worth more than $40 million.
Warmington Residential is the home building arm of the Warmington real estate group, which currently has 15 new home communities in progress across its Northern California, Southern California, and Nevada divisions.
