McBride Homes—No. 66 on the 2024 Builder 100—announced the promotion of Jeannie Aumiller to president.

Aumiller becomes the first female president in the company’s history, marking a significant milestone for the company and industry.

"Jeannie’s promotion is not only a significant achievement for her, but it also reflects McBride’s commitment to fostering leadership that encompasses diverse perspectives,” says John Eilermann, chairman of McBride Homes. “We are excited for her to bring her expertise and vision to this new role, which will undoubtedly drive McBride Homes to new heights."

Aumiller joined McBride Homes in 2006 as associate general counsel and has since risen to become the general counsel and senior vice president of real estate. Over the years, she played an instrumental role in guiding the company’s legal strategies and also expanded her responsibilities to include sales, human resources, and overall strategic planning.

Under her leadership, McBride Homes successfully launched innovative ventures such as HomeKey Mortgage and Home Title.

“This is an incredibly exciting time for McBride Homes,” says Jake Eilermann, CEO of McBride Homes. “We are on track to close over 1,000 homes this year, and I am confident that Jeannie is the right leader to help guide us into a successful future. I look forward to collaborating with her as we continue to solidify our market dominance.”

Effective immediately, Aumiller’s title will be president and general counsel. She will continue to lead all legal services related to land acquisition, negotiation, contracts, and real estate development.

"I am truly honored to step into this role at McBride Homes,” says Aumiller. “My journey here has been immensely fulfilling, and I am excited to help lead our talented team as we continue to innovate and set new standards in the home building industry. Together, we will ensure that every home we build reflects our commitment to quality, value, and exceptional customer service."
