The Academy of Neuroscience for Architecture has been awarded the $100,000 Latrobe Fellowship to pursue research into how the brain perceives architecture. The Latrobe Fellowship, named for architect Benjamin Henry Latrobe, is given biennially by the American Institute of Architects College of Fellows. The nonprofit Academy of Neuroscience for Architecture, based in San Diego, supports research that bridges neuroscience with architecture.
