Reaching Out

Two public builders expanded their reach with late spring acquisitions. KB Home moved to strengthen its position in the Midwest with the purchase of Indianapolis-based Dura Builders, which in 2003 closed more than 500 homes for $75 million in revenue. The terms of the deal were not disclosed.
