Sunrise of Lincoln Park

Chicago

1 MIN READ

OPENED A YEAR AGO on a mixed-use, redeveloped site, this 60-unit assisted living center aims to help its downtown residents feel as if they were living in a swanky apartment building or ritzy hotel. With its two-story atrium, grand staircase, and second-floor garden, the 68,405-square-foot center was built on a generous scale. Outside, horizontal banding divides the five-story building into three visual levels. The fifth floor is topped with a heavy cornice over a distinctive corner turret.
