The popular HGTV “Rock the Block” is kicking off season six in Utah with Hamlet Homes as the official builder.

Excited about the season being set in one of Hamlet Homes’ newest developments in the Salt Lake City area, Tami Ostmark Hamlet's owner and vice president of marketing and design, says, "The thing that we are the most excited about is for everyone to see these homes to come to life. Our whole team has been excited for this opportunity, and it has turned out to be an incredible experience that has brought our team together. We feel more than ever now that we can take on any challenge".

Former competitors and judges like star designer Alison Victoria from “Sin City Rehab” with past “Rock the Block” champion and high-end designer Michel Smith Boyd and Jonathan Knight from “Farmhouse Fixer” and his New Kids on the Block bandmate and brother Jordan Knight from “Farmhouse Fixer: Camp Revamp” will return to the block on the veteran teams. The rookie teams will feature married home renovation professionals Chelsea and Cole DeBoer from “Down Home Fab” and flipping, renovation, and real estate experts Kamohai and Tristyn Kalama from “Renovation Aloha”.

With special permission from HGTV, Hamlet Homes was allowed to record behind the scenes footage of all seven episodes. "We had a photographer/videographer on site for the whole show. We are excited to show a peek behind the curtain. After every episode, we will launch a behind the scenes episode on our website," says Ostmark.

The two-hour premiere aired this week and showed teams constructing the kitchens, dining and living areas while adding desirable elements that will up the value and appeal to potential buyers. New to this season, expert judges will tour the finished spaces without the teams, revealing their identities and giving their honest assessments of the layouts and design choices at each weekly judging. Designer, television host, and best-selling author Bobby Berk will determine which competitor delivered the ideal 'heart of the home' with maximum functionality and style.

Hamlet’s private launch party promoted awareness of Hamlet's partnership with Homeaid Utah. Homeaid Utah helps fight homelessness in Utah through local programs combining community engagement and housing development. "Homeaid efforts have really moved us at Hamlet, and we want to do anything possible to support their mission to help Utahns realize their dreams of having their own home," adds Ostmark.

The winner of "Rock the Block" will have a donation made on their behalf to No Kid Hungry, which can help provide 100,000 meals* to kids living with hunger. Since Season 1, funds raised by Rock the Block help provide over 500,000 meals* to kids.

The four homes built for season six are at an undisclosed location and are not open to the public. The homes will be accessible after the final episode at Hamlet's Finale Party on May 30 and 31, 2025.
