Chris Baldwin currently serves as president, Kitchen & Bath Americas and was appointed to this position in 2016.
Chris is responsible for driving profitable growth, innovation and all aspects of the K&B Americas organization including KOHLER, STERLING and HYTEC brands, as well as K&B Brazil. Chris is a well-rounded business leader with experience in three business groups at Kohler Co.
Chris joined Kohler Co. in 2005 as director – RV/Mobile within the Power Systems business. Two years later, he transitioned to the Interiors Group as general manager – Kallista, leading Kohler Co.’s luxury, boutique plumbing business. Most recently, he led the Global Faucets organization as its president. Before joining Kohler Co., Chris was a product manager and national sales manager for Siemens Building Technologies, after gaining experience in sales, marketing and engineering at Eaton Corporation and Dwyer Instruments.
Chris earned a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Purdue University and an MBA from Northwestern University’s J.L. Kellogg School of Management.
Chris serves on the board of directors of Ideal Industries, a 100-year old, privately-held company specializing in products and technology serving the electrical, wire processing, automotive, construction, data communications, and aerospace industries. Additionally, he serves on the Policy Advisory Board of the Harvard Joint Center for Housing Studies as well as on the Strategic Advisory Council of Plumbing Manufacturers International, a trade association of plumbing products manufacturers. Its member companies produce most of the nation’s plumbing products.
