Creating the Green House Project.

The Green House Project is a new approach to long-term care: Nursing homes are torn down and replaced with small, home-like environments. A Green House home, designed for 10 to 12 people, is designed to foster relationships where an elder’s natural rhythms and preferences are honored.

There are hundreds of Green House homes open or in development in myriad states. The concept could present opportunities for developers to build these homes for the massive baby boomer cohort.
