di Domenico + Partners has been providing operational planning, facilities management, and architectural design services to the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center Operating Corporation since 1986, and is acting as Owner’s Representative for the $1.7 billion expansion. dD+P continues its partnership with Javits in both running and maintaining the building. dD+P is currently leading a facility-wide interior master plan and renovation consisting of relocation and unification of internal departments to help improve work place environments and efficiencies of common services – a plan that addresses new technology initiatives and flooding damage from Superstorm Sandy in 2012. dD+P also oversaw the design, integration and construction of the new Starbucks Coffee Kiosk located within the Javits Center’s Crystal Palace.
