Builder’s Choice and Custom Home Awards Finalist
Construction had already begun when we were hired to design the interior of our clients’ home and add exterior detailing. Though our clients purchased a spec home, they wanted to customize it to better match their lifestyle.
Two large, punched sliding doors were replaced with two bi-folding doors that open from the corner, allowing for fluid access from the living room corner to an outdoor area.
The home features a casual, exterior dining area with a built-in BBQ grill and bench, warmed by generous amounts of cedar and fir. A custom covered awning allows this space to be used in any weather.
The open-plan living, kitchen and dining area is marked by an overall palette of crisp white, softened by natural wood and illuminated by natural light.
What resulted through working with us as their architect was a custom home thoughtfully designed to suit their needs and modern aesthetic.
