Merit Award: Master Bath In A Remodeled Home
This master bath, contained within the master suite of this Manhattan penthouse, features glass walls on three sides that turn opaque at the flick of a switch. The judges were impressed with the inventive application of a liquid crystal display (LCD) wall system, and for the sleek design details that were used in tandem with the privacy glass: inset rain shower head, recessed tub with steps, and custom vanity with a wide trough sink and waterfall faucets. For its bold and hi-tech attitude, this master bath earned an Award of Merit.
