Red Wing Shoe Company’s new Tradeswoman Boot – models 2328, 2329, 2345, and 2346 – is designed specifically for women in construction, light manufacturing, and warehouse or distribution industries. The boots are purpose-built to fit womens’ feet, offering all-day job-site safety and comfort, according to the manufacturer.
"We’ve heard from our female customers about how challenging it can be to find a work boot that fits," says Kristin Hamilton, senior product merchandising manager at Red Wing Shoe Company. “By nature, a woman's foot shape, from her arch support to her heel, is very different than a man’s foot, which is why our product team designed the Tradeswoman family. This ensures a comfortable fit for our female customers, and like our other work boots, the Tradeswoman is durable and meets ASTM safety standards.”
The Tradeswoman Boot features an oblique toe shape for extra toe space, a dual density footbed and a PU midsole for added comfort. The VersaTrax rubber outsole and lug design provide improved traction and durability. Optional safety technologies include electrical hazard resistance, a non-metallic toe, and waterproofing. It is available in three styles – two six-inch models and one hiker-inspired boot – with black, brown, or gray waterproof leather. redwingshoes.com
