In preparation for the 2023 International Builders’ Show (IBS) in Las Vegas, the NAHB announced the finalists for its 10th annual Best of IBS Awards earlier this month. Evaluated for innovation, functionality, and design, the over 400 submissions in nine categories were judged by 26 industry and media representatives. Best in Show and category winners will be announced Feb. 2 at the show’s conclusion.

Best Energy Efficient Product finalists include Rheem ProTerra Plug-in Heat Pump Water Heater by Rheem Manufacturing Co., SPAN Drive by SPAN, and Whirlpool 4.5-Cubic-Foot Ventless All In One Washer Dryer by Whirlpool Corp.
Most Innovative Building Material finalists include Elevation Cable Rail by Barrette Outdoor Living, EXACOR Magnesium Oxide (MgO) panels by Huber Engineered Woods, Mobile Carpenter Workshop Trailer by On-Site Building Solutions, and ZIP System Peel & Stick Underlayment by Huber Engineered Woods.
Most Innovative Construction Tool finalists include Higharc’s Procure by Higharc, Carpenter Workshop Trailer by On-Site Building Solutions (Booth SU668), and NO-COAT PRO by CertainTeed.

Finalists for Best Home Technology Product are Brilliant Home Control System by Brilliant, GE Profile UltraFast Combo with Ventless Heat Pump Technology by GE Profile, Lennox S40 Smart Thermostat by Lennox Industries, SPAN Panel by SPAN, and Vacuum Elevators by Pneumatic Vacuum Elevators.
The Best Outdoor Product finalists include Emerald Rain Refresh by Sherwin-Williams, HydAway Hydraulic Walls by HydAway Hydraulic Walls, and Rheem HotWave by Rheem Manufacturing Co.
Best Window & Door Products include Axolotl by Axolotl, Door Stud by Door Stud, MasterGrain Premium Fiberglass Door by Weber Technologies/MasterGrain, and PAGEN greenEvolution by PAGEN.

Best Kitchen & Bath Product finalists are BlueStar Dual Fuel Range by BlueStar, Broan Elite 21-Inch Custom Range Hood Power Pack with SmartSense by Broan-NuTone and radiant Wave Switch by Legrand.
Other finalists include BILT by BILT Inc., Canvas by Canvas, and Houzz Pro by Houzz for Best Home Software Product; CANTILEVER by Viewrail, Overture Automated Indoor Air Quality System by Broan-NuTone, and Performance Series V-Coil with Vertex Technology by Carrier for Best Indoor Product.


Best of Kitchen & Bath Show 2023
At the Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS), Best of KBIS will return to recognize the most innovative new products of the year. On Feb. 1, awards will be given in the categories of Kitchen, Bath, Connected Home Technology, Impact Award – Judges Choice, and Best of Show. The awards program will be hosted by Kathryn Given, style director of Luxe Interiors + Design.
Finalists in various categories include Beko US, Bertazzoni, BOCCHI, Brizo, Brondell, Caesarstone, Century Components, Cosentino, Dacor, Dekker, Delta Faucet, Duravit, Emtek Products, Federal Brace, Fittings Metal Collection, FOTILE America LLC, Fulgor Milano, GE Appliances, Häcker Kitchens, Häfele America, Hettich America, House of Rohl, Karran USA, Kohler, La Bastille, and LG Electronics.

Moen, Neolith, Pokarna Engineered Stone Limited, Richelieu Hardware, ROBAM, S.G. srl, Samsung, Sharp Home Electronics Company of America, Summit Appliance, THOR Kitchen, Top Knobs - Hardware Resources, and ZLINE Kitchen and Bath round out the finalists list.
