Kyle Bunting And Amy Lau Collaborate on Hide Collection

Repeated shapes and mixed colors turn these hides into optical illusions

Interior designer Amy Lau teamed up with Kyle Bunting, a hide-product designer and manufacturer in Austin, Texas, on a new hide collection inspired by Op Art and the illusionary geometry of Italian architect Gio Ponti’s work. The designs—Flaunt, Flow, and Flash—can be specified as rugs, wall coverings, upholstery, and pillows in any size, color, and shape; the colors are mixed and the shapes repeated to create an optical effect.
