Mitsubishi Electric US, Inc.’s Cooling & Heating Division has announced the expansion of its Performance Builder Program, through which it guides builders who need high-performance cooling and heating systems in their residential products, in accordance with modern energy-efficiency demands.
Each Mitsubishi Electric business unit includes a Performance Construction Team, which will offer expertise and forward thinking on industry best practices, trends, and advancements. Builders who participate in this program will have access to a network of Mitsubishi installers, distributors and technicians, training opportunities through Performance Builder Program classes, Mitsubishi consultants, and marketing support.
“Today’s homeowners have high standards for construction – they are more educated and more discriminating than ever before,” says Mike Smith, senior manager of residential marketing, Mitsubishi Electric US, Inc.’s Cooling & Heating Division. “By staying on top of industry trends and needs, the Performance Builder Program works with customers to ‘build better.’ That means building more efficiently and proactively for better home comfort, health and performance.”
The Performance Construction Teams work with builders and remodelers to educate them on best practices in high-performance HVAC. These include zoning systems, which allow home owners to individually control up to eight “zones” per unit. These units are better insulated and smaller than central HVAC systems, require little to no ducting, and offer improved air quality and lower costs for home owners.
