The U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) has partnered with Better Homes and Gardens (BHG) to launch a sweepstakes campaign aimed at promoting green home improvements. The program was developed to disseminate advice from the USGBC’s Green Home Guide as well as related articles from BHG. Entrants can opt to receive tips via e-mail or by clicking on a link from the sweepstakes home page.
Topics on greening the home will include how to increase energy efficiency, cut water usage, and improve indoor air quality. More than 40 million subscribers to BHG print publications and websites such as Renovation Style, Kitchen & Bath Makeovers, and Kitchen Bath Ideas will receive the sweepstakes offer along with green tips between now and Aug. 15, 2011. Homeowners can enter once a day during that time by visiting www.bhg.com/home.
