Dekton by Cosentino has added four new color options for its Dekton ultra-compact architectural surfacing. Fossil, Kira, and Nayla will be included in the Dekton Natural Collection, and Vienna will be included in the Dekton XGloss Natural Collection.
Formed from a blend of glass, quartz, porcelain, and other material, Dekton’s highly-durable surface is formed from a blend of glass, quartz, porcelain, and other materials. It is scratch, stain, shock, and UV resistant, which allows it to be used in a wide variety of interior and exterior applications, including flooring, worktops, cladding, and stairs.
All four new colors provide natural textures and tones for the engineered surface. Fossil mimics mottled grey rock, with light flecks and veins on a dark background. Nayla blends silver and white, while Kira emulates weather-worn hide cast in stone.
Vienna’s grainy, glossy white features a crystal-like shine. The XGloss finish’s Nanocoating Process and mechanical polishing serve to create high-performance product with enhanced water repellent properties.
“As interior design trends come and go, it is essential to keep an eye out for what will endure – especially when you’re selecting a material created to last generations,” says Massimo Ballucchi, Director of Marketing for Cosentino North America. “The texture of these new colors makes a statement, and their neutral colors are sure to stand the test of time.”
