The Aflio Collection, new from Italian kitchen and bath manufacturer Gessi, combines an overhead rainfall/waterfall showerhead with a chromatherapeutic lighting system, designed to diffuse soft light through the water stream in the user’s choice of color.
The showerhead is available in square, round, or rectangular shapes that may be recessed into the ceiling or exposed in a box housing. The diffused light comes through a slot at the top of the showerhead, and the thin steel outer frame and recessed inner walls serve to create an optical illusion of “floating,” according to the manufacturer.
Lighting color choices include shades of gold, blue, green, and purple, and the showerhead itself is available in a variety of finishes. gessi.com
