Smart lighting and electrical control manufacturer Smartlabs has partnered with electronics brand Nokia to create and launch Nokia Smart Lighting, a series of lighting and electrical control products designed for universal compatibility, versatility, and easy and intuitive installation and use, both for consumers and for trade professionals.

The product line consists of a series of wall-mounted outlets and switches, including paddle and dial; a four-button, multifunction keypad; an outlet; and a bridge. The multifunction keypad features an engravable cover, which can be removed and switched out depending on use.
All products can be retrofitted into existing wiring and are compatible with any lighting fixture, bulb type, and wiring configuration or location. Each switch and outlet can be controlled by Android or iOS apps, integrated with Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa, or individually controlled by any other networked Nokia Smart Lighting product.
The products run on a “dual-mesh” system, enabling them to stay connected and functional even when Wi-Fi is down by utilizing a combination of radio frequency reception and existing wiring systems.
