Wondering where future tech installers will come from? So are the electricians' unions. The National Electrical Contractors Association and International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers have blanketed the nation's high schools with career action kits, describing their earn-as-you-learn apprenticeships. In addition to providing paid on-the-job training, these apprenticeships offer participants the chance to earn college credits.
