The 1618 Multi-Slide Door adds a three-track configuration to the MI Windows and Doors 1600 Series door, available previously only in two-track arrangements. It is available in sizes up to 12 feet wide and 8 feet tall, with an eight-week lead time on orders, according to the manufacturer.
The door is available with the operating panel on either the right or left side. The operating and intermediate panels can be moved together to create a larger opening space. Optional features include blinds between glass panes and a retractable screen that covers the wider opening.
The 1618 comes as standard in a white extruded color, with double-pane argon and Low-E glass. Eight painted exterior options are available, along with HP Low-E glass and grids. Only knockdown versions will be produced.
Much like the 1615 and 1617 two-track doors, the 1618 door features a durable aluminum track, a saddle sill with heavy-duty nylon rollers, and a raised rail to protect against debris. miwindows.com
