INOX has responded to the limited availability and versatility of new hardware for multipoint locking systems for swing doors with its Universal Multipont Series, which is designed to fit 95% of multipoint locking systems by major door manufacturers. This move expands builders and renovators’ options beyond the manufacturer’s choice of multipoint door hardware, and eliminates the need to potentially void the door’s warranty by drilling new holes to fit new hardware.

“Entry and patio swing doors with multipoint locking systems can provide a beautiful and secure option for homeowners and their designers, but most door systems include just a single manufacturer-chosen trim,” says Jeff Howes, President of INOX. “After nearly two years of development and testing to create an elegant solution, our new Universal Multipoint Series offers numerous design options that each fit as though they were custom made.”

The framework hidden behind the Multipoint Series’ trim incorporates an adjustable thru-bolt distance, which can be configured by up to 1.5 inches on the top and 2 inches on the bottom. Its triple-spring support reduces lever sag over time, and its stainless steel components serve to keep bolts in place.

Twenty-six modern and transitional-style handle designs are available, as well as four metallic finishes for escutcheon plates and levers—Bright Polished Stainless Steel, Satin Stainless Steel, Two-tone Stainless Steel and Oil Rubbed Bronze— and four ceramic-coating finishes in Graphite Black, Flat Black, White, and Grey.
