Haas Door has added four new polycarbonate impact window glazing options – Clear, Dark Gray, Bronze, and Pebble – to the American Tradition 900 series of steel garage doors.

The doors measure 2 inches thick overall, and feature a 26-gauge galvanized steel base, polyurethane exterior overlay boards, and CGC-free polyurethane insulation with a calculated R-value of 13.45. Taken together, the door and glazed windows offer design pressures of +48.0/-52.0 for doors up to 10 feet, 2 inches wide, and +31.3/-34.9 for doors between 10 feet, three inches and 16 feet, 2 inches wide. Doors with impact glass are not rated for use in Miami-Dade or HVHZ.

“Enhancing the American Tradition Series with the availability of impact glass options makes this impressive product line more valuable for people living in areas affected by strong winds and storms,” says Jeffrey Nofziger, president of Haas Door. “Florida residents outside of Miami-Dade can confidently order this product line knowing that these impact windows will help protect their garage during severe weather conditions.”

The American Tradition 900 series offers 24 door models, 10 window options, and a total of 24 specialty glass styles – 15 insulated and eight non-insulated. The doors are available in 13 solid base colors, four wood grain bases, and 16 color overlays. haasdoor.com
