Product Pick of the Week: Ruvati’s Take on the Ofuro Bathtub

This modern interpretation of a traditional Japanese ofuro bathtub is ideal for small spaces.

Ruvati’s latest product launch for the bathroom is the Omnia Ofuro freestanding tub.

Inspired by centuries-old Japanese bathing traditions, ofuro tubs are shorter and deeper, allowing the bather to lounge comfortably while immersing their body in water.

In addition to its wellness benefits, the Omnia Ofuro tub has a minimalist design and compact footprint, measuring 55 inches by 29 1/2 inches by 29 3/4 inches, with an interior bathing depth of 27 inches. The gently rounded interior and built-in seat provide comfort and support, encouraging full-body immersion.

Made in Italy by skilled artisans, the Omnia Ofuro bathtub is crafted from Ruvati’s signature epiStone—an exclusive blend of 70% organic crushed stone and minerals with a proprietary resin. It mimics the look of natural stone, is silky smooth to the touch, and features a seamless, non-porous surface that is easy to clean and maintain. The Omnia tub’s thick construction helps retain heat longer, creating a more soothing soaking experience while also being naturally sound-absorbing.

The collection is available in matte white or black with a stain powder finish.
