THOR Kitchen debuted its new line of Professional Electric Cooktops, available in a 30-inch size as well as a 36-inch model. The cooktops, which offer precise heat control with the touch of a button, feature nine power levels and a high-powered 3,600-watt LightningBoil Element. The manufacturer says the cooktops offer increased energy efficiency and can pair with any interior design style.

“Cooktops are popular in modern kitchen design because they can be installed in many areas of the kitchen, such as within an island, which opens up valuable counter space for meal prep,” says THOR Kitchen managing director Kyle You. “With sustainability on the forefront of residential design and construction, these new electric cooktops offer a modern option for new-home builds where all electric is required.”

The LightningBoil Element consists of three rings of varying sizes. The 6-inch ring can be activated to heat a small saucepot, or all three can be engaged for maximum power output to quickly boil a large pot of water, according to THOR Kitchen. The Sync Burner allows users to evenly heat large cookware by synchronizing both left-side elements for up to 3,800 watts of combined output. Each element on the appliance is equipped with an automatic shutoff that activates once cooking is done, offering users increased safety.

The Professional Electric Cooktops feature touch controls to allow more precision when selecting heat levels. Spills and grease wipe away easily from the appliance’s glass surface. thorkitchen.com
