For the first time, Forza Cucina’s upcoming FF488GN 48-inch gas range features a single, extra-wide oven cavity—used in place of the double ovens often standard on ranges of this size.
At 7.4 cubic feet with 40 inches of clearance, the range’s cavity is 46% larger than that of a 36-inch oven. It is wide enough to fit up to two turkeys or over 120 cookies on a full and half commercial tray together. Users can also roast a full goat, lamb, or small pig on the oven’s MaxRotisserie attachment, which utilizes a 33-inch motor-driven rod. The oven is able to heat from 0 to 400 degrees in eight minutes, and the cooktop offers a total of 128,000 BTU of cooking power.
“What we wanted to do with our product is to maximize the space of its dimensions,” says Marco Guerzoni, marketing and product development director at Forza Cucina. With this 48-inch model, we literally also maximized our concept … of being a radical Italian design brand. With that dimension, we give the best balance to our sculpted edge aesthetic. So you can see our massive handles, our big knobs, but it’s not just that. It’s about the feeling of having a dynamic range in front of you.”
The FR488GN is available in seven finishes: orange, yellow, red, white, blue, black, and stainless steel, all with a stainless steel range top. Pricing for the range starts at $8,599, available starting in spring 2021. forzacucina.com
