One of RIDGID’s many new product launches this fall is the RIDGID Brushless 18V Jig Saw, which offers up to 50% longer run-time and a longer motor life than brushed motor models, according to the manufacturer.
The tool’s variable-speed trigger and dial allow for fine speed control, with a lock-on function to reduce user fatigue. The dial also allows the user to select Line-Start Mode, which gradually increases the speed of a cut over time, starting slow and increasing speed once the saw engages with material. A sight line blowers removes debris from the saw’s cut line, providing the user with increased visibility.
The tool’s no load SPM ranges from 0-3,500. When connected to RIDGID’s Octane battery packs, the tool will maximize its battery output in heavy-duty cutting applications.
The RIDGID Brushless 18V Jig Saw retails for $129.00 through Home Depot. The kit contains the tool, one jig saw blade, and an owner’s manual, with the battery and charger sold separately.
