Much like the standard PureAir system, the newly launched Lennox PureAir S whole-home air purification system uses a MERV 16 Carbon Clean filter to eliminate 99.9% of airborne particles in the home, including pollen, dust, and pet dander. However, the PureAir S is able to communicate with the Lennox iComfort S30 Smart Thermostat and with standard smart devices, allowing homeowners and other users to monitor the system and its components via multiple sources.

The PureAir S provides details about the life and status of its filter and of the purifier’s UVA light on a scale from zero to 100, which home owners can access via the display on the iComfort thermostat. This data can also be accessed through the iComfort app and through the Lennox Dealer Dashboard Portal, for the benefit of service technicians. The system is designed for ease of installation and serviceability, with front-door access for maintenance or component replacement and automatic setup for smart device connections.

“The ability for automatic setup makes the PureAir S extremely easy for technicians to install with the Lennox iComfort S30 ultra-smart thermostat and a Lennox communicating indoor unit, and the smart and sensing features make maintaining the system a breeze,” says John Whinery, vice president of product management at Lennox Industries.

The PureAir S can work alongside other Lennox heating and cooling equipment, including a communicating indoor HVAC system.
